Who We Are HPI has three principals: Jim Holley manages the Executive Search practice, and leads consultation in staffing and development programs, including the use of Internet administered assessments. He also consults in the areas of team and executive effectiveness including team analysis and 360 degree executive and manager evaluation. Jim has some thirty years of US and international human resources experience in Silicon Valley firms and non-profits. He holds a BS degree from Ohio State University and an MPA from San Jose State University. Additionally he has qualified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator through the Association for Psychological Type (APT). Supporting community interests, he also possesses Certificates in Teaching English as a Second Language and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. He also holds an Adult Teaching Credential issued by the State of California. Shirley Holley, a licensed psychotherapist, focuses on executive effectiveness coaching with a specialty in couples who manage a business jointly. She also uses Myers-Briggs concepts in team development projects. Shirley has over twenty-five years of experience including twenty years in private practice as a psychotherapist. Shirley's BA is from UC Riverside. Her MS is from San Jose State University. She is licensed as a psychotherapist by the State of California. Additionally, she has qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator through the Association for Psychological Type (APT). David Pilati is an executive coach and senior recruiter. He has a diverse background in driving organizational change, interpersonal skill building, leadership development and mediation, as well as extensive experience in engineering R&D and engineering and management education. David provides executive coaching to managers and executives from many businesses and professions but is particularly effective in developing the leadership potential of highly educated clients with a technological background. His formal education includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Engineering Science from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Gestalt Institute's Organization and Systems Development program and qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Indicator. Affiliates
